Part of the awcolley.com family of websites, AWCfamily.com is dedicated to genealogy, specifically researching and displaying the family trees for my wife (Garner) and I (Colley).
Although I have much more information to load into my genealogical database, and although I would like to “pretty up” the presentation on this website, I have decided to just go ahead and post what I currently have without worrying (yet) about looks.
The search form on this page (not the Search box at the bottom) contains all this data in its index, so feel free to search for individuals, surnames, places, etc. However, please take a little time to just browse around the surname and individuals indices (and my Family Tree Maker website). Hey, I may have misspelled the name you are looking for and you would miss it if you just relied on the search engine (unless you can guess how I would misspell it)!

Advanced Search
A note about the site search feature: the surnames are written in ALL CAPS, so when you search use all lower case letters when typing in the names or words you want to search for, as you should do whenever you use a search engine. This is because search engines will match lower case search strings to any case; but if you have any upper case letters in your search string, they will only find instances with the exact case you type in. In other words, if you type in “Dickerson” (without the quotes, of course), you will only find this page; whereas, if you type in “dickerson” you will find several more pages where the name appears as “DICKERSON”.
There is a limit at which forbearance ceases to be a virtue.
